One of the biggest challenges to local bodies throughout New Zealand is to continually provide high quality water to its ratepayers reliably, efficiently and with an eye on cost accountability. With New Zealand's ever-expanding population, many councils are looking for smart solutions that embrace new piping technology that previous generations of councils weren't able to consider.

FLOWTITE pipe has proved to be a new generation of raw and potable water conveyance. The smooth bore, good abrasion resistance, long lengths and great range of diameters offer significant advantages over their traditional competitors. Pipes can also be custom-designed for the specific pressure and stiffness requirements of a project, and a wide assortment of both standard and non-standard fittings are available.

Flowtite pipe is proven suitable for potable water transport with no effect on water quality and is not affected by water treatment additives. Ideally suited for pressure water supply mains where large diameter, deep burial or difficult installations are encountered.

Mine Dewatering Line: PT Newmont , Indonesia

Flowtite pipe was chosen for a 25 bar dewatering line in the Newmont mine in Indonesia.

The client also required a number of special flanges and items to connect the FRP line to the existing lines and Maskell designed and fabricated these to suit the client's specifications.
