FLOWTITE International

Since its introduction to the market in 1965, FLOWTITE GRP piping has been used in thousands of  projects around the globe, on all continents. Over the years, more than 60,000 kilometres of pipes have been laid, the length of over one and half times around the globe!

The history of FLOWTITE Technology dates back to the 1960s, and began in the USA when Owens Corning initiated the manufacture of GRP pipes and tanks.

Today, the company is owned by the AMIANTIT Group and has two technology centres, one in Norway and one in Saudi Arabia. These centres have a key objective to deliver state-of-the-art technology to the market. The centres direct R&D and plant startups worldwide, take care of joint ventures and licensees in over 20 countries and pool the individual companies' know-how and equipment resources. These technical resources are mainly based in two Amiantit Technology Centres.

At present, FLOWTITE Technology has established more than 20 plants or production lines producing FLOWTITE GRP pipes. Today, the company is among the leaders in GRP product and technology development worldwide.
